Beet The Heat Smoothie

Here’s a smoothie that will keep you cool and charge up your body with plenty of nutrients! It’s so delicious and it’s a great for introducing veggies into your smoothies if you’re not already doing so. Enjoy!

Ingredients

1/4 cup of water
Handful of spinach
Half an apple, sliced
1 cup of prepared beets
A handful of frozen berries
1/3 cup of carrots
A teaspoon of flaxseed

  1. Prepare ingredients and toss in blender in order shown above
  2. Blend on low for 30 seconds and slowly adjust variable to high until smooth
  3. Turn variable back to low for another 30 seconds
